Millward & Associates is Project Director for Coordinated Street Furniture Programs in York Region, the City of Ottawa and the Greater Amman Municipality in Jordan. In 2005, R.E. Millward & Associates was retained by the City of Toronto to act as Project Director for a Coordinated Street Furniture Program. This position involved managing the public consultation process, producing policy and design guidelines for street furniture, assisting in the development of the RFP and structuring the evaluation process. Union Station Master Plan
R.E. Millward & Associates served as Project Director for the Peer Review of Union Station’s Master Plan. In collaboration with two other consulting firms, R.E. Millward & Associates managed the review and stakeholder and public consultation process, as well as assisted in developing the Master Plan which provides a planning and design framework for the Station. The Plan was overwhelmingly adopted by City Council in December, 2004.

Filmport/Toronto Film Studios
As Planning Consultant and Government Relations Liaison, R.E. Millward & Associates helped devise the strategy that has produced Filmport, a major film studio in Toronto’s Don Lands Development which opened in summer of 2008. Mr. Millward was responsible for providing expert advice on managing the City of Toronto approval process, developing the RFP, negotiating with City staff, and securing due diligence. Concrete Campus
R.E. Millward & Associates was Project Manager/Chief Planner for the rezoning process of four aggregate companies wanting to locate along the ship channel in Toronto’s Port Lands. This project involved coordinating the concrete/aggregate producers, multiple consultants, and several public agencies to reach a consensus on land use and development on the site.

Toronto Parking Authority (20 Alvin Avenue)
R.E Millward & Associates was retained as the Planning Consultant by the Toronto Parking Authority to assess and evaluate mixed-use proposals for the lands at Yonge Street and St. Clair Avenue. The assessment involved analyzing the planning, built form and financial aspects of each proposal, and the likelihood of approval through a public process in the City of Toronto.
